Ceola and Lorraine share a deep-rooted passion for empowering and encouraging women. In 2011, Ceola established her first nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and children. She crossed paths with Lorraine a few years later and their shared dedication to women's empowerment has birthed a strong sisterhood, and friendship.
Since 2013, Ceola and Lorraine have actively organized various community programs and conferences, each aimed at benefitting women, children and the community as a whole. These initiatives include the SPF-90 Day Encouragement Program, Sisters Movie Night, an annual clothing drive, a gift-giving campaign, an Easter Basket Giveaway, mentorship, and providing assistance with shelter. In addition, they've built partnerships with the welfare to work program, domestic violence, Rape Crisis and mential illness centers and more. In June 2014 they hosted their inaugural mini-women's conference, aptly named "I Am My Sister's Keeper."
Right from the start, their shared vision has been to foster a sense of unity and support among women. They sought to create a safe and empowering space where women could strengthen their faith and deepen their relationship with God, embracing their divine purposes and leadership potential. One of their key objectives was to facilitate the building of meaningful connections among like-minded women, allowing them to find solace and support in each other's company.
In summary, Ceola and Lorraine's unwavering passion for empowering and encouraging women has driven them to organize a range of community programs and conferences over the years. The two continue what began in 2011 in Dream2b, adding more programs and services to benefit women, children, and the community as a whole.
