Culinary Adventures: The Art of Cooking is an engaging and comprehensive program designed for youth ages 10–17 and adult women, focusing on healthy eating, proper food preparation, and foundational culinary skills.
The program emphasizes three key culinary principles: color, consistency, and creativity. Participants learn nutritious food selection, safe food handling, and essential cooking techniques including boiling, sautéing, baking, and grilling.
By completion of Culinary Basics 101, participants will develop well-rounded competency in nutrition and cooking methods — enabling them to create delicious, visually appealing, and consistently high-quality meals with confidence and creativity.
