VPAP: DARE to DREAM
How the Performing Arts Benefit Children
Dream2b (D2b), Visual and Performing Arts Program (VPAP), will provide comprehensive drama/theater performance arts workshops for kids ages 10-17. The workshops will cover the following areas of performing arts:
- Scriptwriting (structural, formatting, etc.)
- The main acting techniques every actor should know
- Stage Management
- Set Building
- Set Scenery/Decor and Props
In addition, Db2’s classes allow students to learn the skill of acting and performance preparation, focusing on three-key theatrical elements (sensory, formal, and technical).
Dream2b realizes there are many benefits for children involved in the arts in school and where students learn innumerable life lessons they can apply in their everyday lives, including:

Db2 is building a team of dedicated and talented individuals to lead our youth in learning and advancing in the visual performing arts.
In addition, D2b will have industry professionals, including guest actors, who will provide tips, share experiences, and inspire our youth.
